Materials & Lighting Tech
This page covers form. Side-glow depth, halo backlighting and the full material palette — for when a letter needs to be lit as well as dimensional — are explained once, for every signage line.
3D Letters & Logos
Depth isn't a lighting trick. It's a construction choice.

Every enquiry on this page goes through the same six-point brief — it's what we need to put a real number on real work, not a ballpark. No brief, no quote.
For a logo mark, a vector file (AI/EPS/SVG) saves a design-fidelity round trip — attach it below if you have one.

Process
From letterform to fascia.
Dimensional signage is defined by form first — depth, return and construction — with lighting as an option layered on top, not the starting point.
Brief & letterform spec
Your logo file or letter proportions, overall dimensions and depth/return, and whether it's lit or unlit — locked before anything is drawn up.
Engineering
Production drawings for the chosen construction — prismatic face, boxed channel, spatial form or cast emblem — plus the mounting depth the wall or facade needs to take.
Production
Letters or emblems are produced to the signed-off form and finish, wired and light-tested first if the piece is lit.
Placement
Flush or raised mounting, positioned and levelled against the drawings — by your own team with the 1:1 drilling template, or by a professional placer.
